A Pair Of Solid Silver Candlesticks From The 18th Century.
An elegant pair of solid silver candlesticks, decorated with faceted panels on both the shaft and the cap.
The octagonal base, adorned with rounded fluting in the center and accented with fillets, is wider than the shaft. It supports a slender baluster shaft resting on a similarly faceted knob.
The wide candle holders, with rounded contours and embellished with fillets, harmoniously complete the ensemble.
The set features a refined design characteristic of the Louis XVI style.
