Large dish on a silver-plated copper pedestal. Bas-relief decoration based on John Milton’s *Paradise Lost*, designed by Léonard Morel-Ladeuil for the 1867 Paris World’s Fair.

The silver plating is in perfect condition, with no restoration or damage.
