Large Porcelain Biscuit Medal - Manufacture Of Sevres - Late XIXth Century
Large hard porcelain cookie medal. It depicts, in bas-relief on one side, a nude man seated in front of a potter's wheel shaping vases. The design of this bas-relief is usually attributed to Théodore Deck, who made it his signature when he was artistic director of the Manufacture de Sèvres at the end of the 19th century.
On the other side is inscribed in hollow the following text:
"L'Union Céramique Et Chaufournière De France
à Mr Boulet Membre Fondateur 1870-1898"

Perfect condition, a few tiny black dots on the trache of the medal. No damage or restoration. No damage or restoration.
