Large vase in the form of a Chinese Zun ritual vase, made of solid, double-layered smoky crystal with intercalated oxide inclusions, blown and tooled. It has a removable, openwork mount in chased and gilded bronze decorated in a Japonisme style with flowers and birds. The exceptional aesthetic and technical quality of the crystal and the remarkable design of the gilded bronze mount are noteworthy. Made by Eugène Rousseau and L'Escalier de Cristal, the signatures are engraved under the base of the crystal section. France, Paris, circa 1880. No damage, exceptional overall condition.
