A Louis XV style wall sconce in chased and gilded bronze. It was electrified a few years ago to European standards. Beautiful original gilding with a slight patina. Note the boldness of the design. Its compact form makes it ideal for illuminating a small section of wall. Period: mid-19th century, Parisian manufacture.
