A Beautiful Lace Set From The Art Nouveau Period, Including A Curtain And A Bedspread

A beautiful set of romantic antique lace, consisting of a curtain and a bedspread, likely for a formal bedroom.
The design is typical of the Art Nouveau style, late 19th century to early 20th century.
For the curtain: a large central medallion, made in Venetian stitch with linen thread, adorned with interlacing floral motifs, surrounded by panels of Valenciennes lace and machine-made lace, as well as inserts of other geometric motifs in Venetian stitch.
The bottom of the curtain is finished with a very pretty pleated ruffle made of cotton tulle, which has been embroidered to add even more elegance and lightness.
The dimensions are 150 cm x 270 cm.
The bedspread is a perfect match, featuring the same refined craftsmanship;deux volants de 35cm entourent deux côtés, la tête du lit se démarque par une bande de point de Venise .  it measures 220 cm x 180 cm with 35cm of ruffles made of embroidered cotton tulle on two sides.
This very shabby chic set is in excellent condition. All the lace is made of cotton, and the Venetian stitch appliqués are made of linen.
