LALIQUE FRANCE – “Kazak” Horse in Amber Crystal

An elegant Lalique crystal sculpture depicting the famous Kazak horse, presented here in a stunning amber version with warm hues ranging from golden yellow to deep orange.

The horse is depicted in full gallop, its head raised and its mane and tail animated by the movement. Lalique plays with the contrast between satin-finished crystal and transparent sections, particularly visible on the head, mane, and tail. Light thus passes through the material, highlighting the animal’s musculature and movement with striking depth.

The Kazak model was designed by Marie-Claude Lalique and created in 1996. Lalique describes it as a tribute to the horse, a symbol of strength, speed, freedom, and independence. The model is still featured in Lalique’s collections in its colorless crystal version.

The sculpture bears the “Lalique France” signature beneath the tail and retains its “LALIQUE PARIS” label on the base.
