He began a career as a graphic designer, advertising illustrator and medical illustrator, which led him to collaborate for fifteen years with the big names in medical and anatomy publishing. At the same time, in 1976, he began to paint and participated in various exhibitions and in particular at the Salon d'Automne in Lyon where he was noticed by critics.
