Art-déco Paper Cup, In Bronze Signed Renée Vautier
Elegant paper cutter in bronze with medal patina, adorned with a finely modeled female nude in relief, characteristic of the work of sculptor and decorator Renée Vautier (1898-1991). An artist who took part in the Salons des Indépendants, d'Automne and des Tuileries as early as 1926.
The figure, treated in an Art Deco figurative style, features a harmonious upright silhouette, with fine work on volumes and drapery at the base. The reverse also reveals the modelling of the body, bringing a complete sculptural dimension to the object.
The signature "Renée Vautier"is visible recessed near the base, accompanied by the hallmark and the words "Bronze"
