Artist: Révolution
Brass frame, single-bar guard, long-tailed pommel. Frame hallmark featuring a "Rooster," partially worn away. Wooden handle wrapped in brown waxed calfskin.
Curved blade with a raised back and hollow edges. Blade spine bears the manufacturer’s name “Klingenthal.” On the blade’s fuller, the abbreviated, stylized inscription “Fran-se” (for “Française”) appears; on the opposite side of the blade, “Rep-e” (for “République”).  Lictor’s hallmark indicating blade acceptance
Width at the heel: 3.7 cm; total length: 81.5 cm.
Sheath with two rings, meticulously crafted and characterized by its notched fittings. The scabbard is made of wood covered in brown waxed leather with two brass fittings, a brass scabbard ring, iron rings, and an iron scabbard tip.
Total length of the weapon: 98 cm.
Good condition.
