Model of a 1857 Dolman uniform for a bugler in the Imperial Guard Guides, the model was made for a child aged 8 to 10; the copy was made around 1870–1890 (from the estate of a château in southern France).
The uniform is made of scarlet silk lined with unbleached canvas, featuring gold-yellow thread brandebourgs, braids and trim, gold buttons, and rabbit fur on one sleeve. The shako is made of scarlet silk with gold braid.
Condition upon discovery: fairly good condition, with wear, discoloration, and stains; the collar trim is missing.
