Two "space Age" Pa Crespi Vases, Italian Design From The 1960s–1970s
Two decorative vases, of the same model but different sizes, made of molded ceramic, typical of Italian modernist design from the 1960s–1970s. Each vase has an oblong shape and is set within a black geometric structure made of MDF (medium-density fiberboard).
These two decorative objects—more ornamental than functional—perfectly illustrate PA Crespi’s aesthetic language: sculptural volumes, sharp contrasts, and space-age-inspired silhouettes.
Condition: One of the two vases, the larger of the two, has the upper surface of the MDF “cage” slightly raised due to exposure to moisture (see last photo). Otherwise, the objects are in excellent condition, with minimal signs of wear
