Franck Innocent was a painter, lithographer, and wood engraver from the Rouen School, born in Sahurs in 1912.

Franck Innocent was a painter, lithographer, and wood engraver from the Rouen School, born in Sahurs in 1912.
As a teenager, he received guidance from Marcel Couchaux, whose studio he began frequenting at the age of fifteen and with whom he regularly went out into nature to paint from life. He became a member of the Artistes Rouennais at the age of 15.
His painting style is colorful and free; he paints from life with great freedom.
His works are exhibited, among other places, at the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rouen, and the Musée Eugène Boudin in Honfleur.
