Artist: Maurice Paul Chevalier 1892 -1987
A small, beautifully crafted Art Deco vase by the renowned French ceramicist Chevallier. He joined the Longwy factory in 1930.In 1931, he became the artistic director at Longwy. He then left for Belgium to work at the Boch Keramis factory in Lalouvière. He returned to Longwy in 1943, in the midst of the war, to resume his role as artistic director.
