White marble base, gilded bronze and black marble columns with garlands of gilded bronze chains.
The upper section is decorated with pinecones, and the dial is surrounded by a laurel garland in a frieze.
The movement is original and functional; the striking mechanism has not been tested due to the absence of a key.
