The piece features a dynamic and harmonious structure in fine bois de violette, embellished with refined floral and geometric inlays in various types of wood, creating a sophisticated interplay of colors and decorative elements with a striking visual impact. The front is characterized by an upper drawer and lower doors with contoured paneling and fillet work, in keeping with the rocaille style typical of the Louis XV period.

Of particular note are the finely chiseled, mercury-gilded bronze fittings found on the handles, air vents, feet, and ornamental elements, a testament to the piece’s exceptional quality. The top is finished with an elegant, shaped piece of Peralba pink marble, perfectly integrated into the piece’s sinuous lines.
