A solid oak cabinet from the Regency period, dating from the early decades of the 18th century, notable for its beautiful proportions and the quality of its craftsmanship.

It opens with two large, richly molded doors. The upper panels are framed by an elegant scrollwork motif, surmounted by a superb central shell surrounded by finely carved foliage, characteristic of the Regency style. The middle panels feature a relief design of baskets of flowers—a symbol of abundance—delicately surrounded by highly refined plant scrollwork.

The front is enhanced by its beautiful wrought-iron hardware and original keyholes, which fully contribute to the piece’s authentic character. The overhanging cornice with modillions, accompanied by a dentilled frieze, gives it an imposing and elegant architectural presence.

The sides are paneled using traditional 18th-century techniques. The piece rests on its original legs and features a beautiful antique patina that highlights the oak’s grain. The interior, currently fitted with shelves, offers ample storage space and can be reconfigured as needed.
