Set Of Three Liqueur Glasses, Late 19th / Early 20th Century

An elegant set of three small liqueur glasses, most likely made of unhallmarked silver or silver-plated with a vermeil interior. Each glass rests on a small, simple and elegant pedestal. The glasses feature rich floral decoration in relief set against a completely matt background, lending the set an interesting interplay of textures and light. The interior is gilded using a traditional technique employed in silversmithing to protect the metal from contact with liquids.
The craftsmanship is evident, particularly in the joints and the characteristic marks of hand-crafted work.
No hallmarks are present. However, the three glasses have been individually tested with a touchstone and reacted positively to the contrast liquid, indicating the presence of silver (see last photo).

Condition: good overall condition. Normal signs of wear and slight fading of the interior gilding in places, consistent with the piece’s age. Some traces of oxidation. No significant damage.
