18th-century Dutch Baroque Chest Of Drawers In Bleached Oak, Netherlands
An 18th-century Dutch Baroque chest of drawers from the Netherlands, crafted from solid light oak with a bleached finish. This piece stands out for its curved front and harmonious proportions, characteristic of Dutch Baroque furniture from this period.
The chest of drawers features four drawers, arranged with two small drawers at the top and two large drawers at the bottom. Each is adorned with original-style brass handles and keyholes. The piece rests on carved legs shaped like animal paws and features delicately molded sides as well as a scalloped lower rail.
The surface is protected by a colorless wax that highlights the natural grain of the oak while giving it a matte, silky finish. The piece has undergone professional restoration and is in excellent condition, with a beautiful natural patina. Its structure is in perfect condition, and it is ready for use.
