Sèvres Porcelain Factory. Bust Of Francis I
Bust of King Francis I in biscuit porcelain on a Sèvres-blue glossy hard-paste porcelain pedestal with gold fillets.
It features the fine details and pure whiteness of the porcelain characteristic of the Sèvres Manufactory.
This is a beautiful historical and royalist object.
Two marks on the pedestal:
- "S88" mark for the year 1888, printed in green under the glaze; this mark was used for hard-paste porcelain from 1871 to 1899
- "Doré à Sèvres BF 90" mark in red, for 1890, used from 1871 to 1899.
Total height: 14.5 cm
Very good condition.
