A charming antique globe created by J. Forest and published by Girard & Barrère, located at 17–19 rue de Buci in Paris, suppliers to the Ministry of Public Instruction. Produced at a scale of 1:65,000,000, it is a fine example of French globe production from the first half of the 20th century.

In excellent condition. The paper is very well preserved, with fresh colors and perfect legibility. The original mount is also in excellent condition, with a few discreet foxing spots and slight signs of age, visible in the photographs.
