Art Deco Bubble Glass Vase With Applied White Decoration, Signed Daum Nancy, Circa 1925
Elegant vase on pedestal in transparent blown glass with important decoration of bubbles trapped in the mass, characteristic of the decorative research carried out by the Daum manufacture during the Art Deco period.
The flared body rests on a circular foot and features hot-applied decoration in opaque white glass (lattimo).
This geometric, stylized decoration perfectly illustrates Daum's evolution towards a modern aesthetic, moving away from the naturalism of Art Nouveau in favor of a more refined, rhythmic decorative vocabulary.
