Dr. Potain's double medical vacuum cleaner, in a box. After evacuating a vial with the syringe, the cavity to be drained was punctured with a needle or a trocar. Box and instruments signed Mathieu in Paris. Louis Mathieu (1817-1879), a manufacturer of medical and surgical instruments born in Belgium, set up his studio in Paris in the middle of the 19th century after internships at Luer and Charrière. One of the pipes is dry and broken in several places. The box is healthy and the instruments in very good condition.
