An interesting traditional knife attributed to the Sami culture (Lapland), featuring an elegant reindeer bone sheath covered in weathered brown leather, finely carved with interlaced motifs characteristic of Nordic craftsmanship.
The flared handle is also made of wood and reindeer bone. The sheath is openwork on one side and decorated with reindeer on the other.
Very beautiful patina from use. The tip is fitted with a metal ferrule bearing inscriptions.

Knife dimensions: 29.5 cm long by 4.3 cm wide.
