Elegant Louis XVI-style mahogany cylinder desk, dating from the 19th century. It rests on four fluted, turned legs, adorned with beaded bronze rings, which lend it a lovely air of lightness.
The upper section opens to reveal three drawers, while the middle section also features three drawers. The cylinder reveals an interior fitted with three small drawers, three storage compartments, and a large writing surface lined with its original red leather.
The piece is adorned with beautiful bronze lock plates and handles, in keeping with the Louis XVI style. The proportions are elegant, and the cabinetmaking is meticulously crafted. This piece is ideal both as a work desk and as a decorative piece.
