Pair Of 19th-century Celadon Baluster Lamps
Pair of kerosene lamps in their original condition, circa 1860, with their glass reservoirs and wick mechanisms on top, which can easily be converted to electric use. The baluster-shaped bodies are made of pale green celadon porcelain and decorated withone side by a gilded monogram in a beaded cartouche surmounted by a knotted ribbon in translucent white, and on the other side by floral motifs, also white, that appear to float within this milky substance. Base and neck in brass and gilded bronze.
