Refined lost-wax cast and gilded bronze clock. The clock features a Bardiglio marble base with gilded bronze feet. The clock's design recalls the Louis XVI style, with phytomorphic and geometric garland motifs. The piece also ends with an amphora embellished with plant motifs. The dial features Arabic and Roman numerals, with gilded bronze hands. It also bears the name of the Parisian clockmaker "Mage," whose headquarters were at 59 Rue de Provence. It chimes the hours and half-hours. This is a clock of great taste and refinement, capable of adding a touch of class and antiquity to any space. French manufacture from the Louis-Philippe period, around the mid-19th century.
