Second Half Of The 19th Century Pair Of Purple Vases
Refined pair of purple porcelain vases, finished in white, black, and gold. The vases feature a globular body and a rim with a flower-shaped lip. The handles are also distinctive, shaped to resemble tree branches, with two leaves on each side. Further enhancing the elegance are the paintings, featuring floral intertwining and white flowers, while the front features two romantic historiated scenes, depicting two pairs of lovers. This pair of vases exudes great taste and refinement, adding a touch of class to any setting. Note the presence of production graffiti on the bottom. French manufacture, second half of the 19th century.
