Bookcase, Louis-philippe Style, Cherry Wood, 19th-century
Louis-Philippe Bookcase in Cherry Wood – 19th Century
Elegant Louis-Philippe bookcase in solid cherry wood from the 19th century, featuring fine cabinetmaking. It opens with two large glass doors, perfect for displaying a substantial collection of books, objets d’art, or earthenware.
It is topped by an imposing molded cornice with a dovetail profile, characteristic of Louis-Philippe furniture. The doors are framed by wide, beveled stiles and rest on a fluted base that terminates in delicate volutes. The interior is made entirely of solid wood and features four adjustable shelves on rails, offering ample storage capacity. These features are typical of Louis-Philippe bookcases from the second half of the 19th century.
