A pair of antique Neapolitan Empire-style mirrors in gilded and carved wood, dating from the first decade of the 19th century.
The frame features a coffered profile that slopes inward through a series of grooves and mirrored moldings depicting Empire-style palmettes.
The gilding consists of 24-karat gold leaf applied over a layer of Armenian bolo.
