Molded, pressed wooden box decorated with Roman ruins. On the lid, an inscription reading “Ruins of Italy” is engraved on the left. The interior is lined with fine material.

Condition: as found; attractive exterior; the lid has a small crack; the fine material lining the interior of the box shows wear and has some missing sections (see photos).
