Belt buckle in gilded bronze with fine gold representing two snakes intertwined with foliage, in the center a miniature of enamelled painted flowers.
Mid-period: 19th century.
In view of the quality of the carving and the assemblies, it is most certainly a work of goldsmith around 1850, unsigned.

Good condition, no lack, no accident, beautiful period patina, no wear to the gilding on the front (see photo).
