A pair of gold cufflinks, adorned with two 20-franc coins made of 22-karat gold, set in 18-karat gold.
The coins are 20-franc Napoleon III “Laureate Head” coins; one is from 1863 and the other from 1861.
The set is stored in a compartmentalized felt case.
In very good condition.
French craftsmanship from the mid-20th century, marked with an eagle’s head hallmark and stamped “Mecan.”
