Artist: Michail Petrovic Zavistovsky (1897 - 1931)
An Impressionist view of Paris created around 1920 by the Ukrainian émigré artist Michil Petrovich Zavistovsky (1897, Kyiv, Ukraine – 1931, Jiren, Czech Republic). After the revolution in Russia, he emigrated from Kyiv to Prague, traveled to Paris, studied at the Prague Academy of Fine Arts under Professor Masek (1922–1927), and later at the Academy of Fine Arts under Professor M. Svabinsky (1927–1931). His works were exhibited in Brno and Prague in 1928 and 1931.
