The son of Robert Bulwer-Lytton, Viceroy of India, Neville Stephen Lytton pursued a career as a painter in both England and France. A student at the Académie Julian in Paris, he exhibited regularly at the Salon de la Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, the Salon d’Automne, and the Salon des Tuileries.
Unsigned work, bearing a studio stamp on the reverse. Provenance: from the artist’s studio collection, acquired directly from his descendants.
