Charles Clément Francis Perron was born in Plessé in 1893 and died in 1958. A student at the École des Beaux-Arts in Nantes, he studied under R. Collin, Laurent, and L. Roger. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français beginning in 1921. Among other honors, he won the silver medal at the 1937 World’s Fair. (in Bénézit).
