Pair Of Half-columns
Corinthian-style with twisted flutes, made of molded, carved, lacquered, and gilded wood.
One is richly decorated with acanthus leaf scrollwork; the other is adorned with a mustached mascaron forming scrolls decorated with bunches of grapes, framing a putto holding an amphora against a sky-blue background.
Dated to the 1st quarter of the 18th century.
