An important Louis XIV style pedestal table in walnut and walnut veneer with a white Carrara marble top, dating from the 19th century. Its marble top is set within a wide molding and rests on a molded pedestal. The pedestal body features molded panels and rests on a molded pedestal with a square base. This pedestal table is very stable and ideal for displaying an imposing bust, a large bronze sculpture, or a substantial vase.
It is in good condition, with restorations consistent with age and use, particularly to the base (small wax fillings). The top is stained (visible in the photos).
