A beautiful, large glazed and gilded Longwy earthenware platter from the 1920s–1930s, decorated with two birds and a grasshopper on a mulberry tree.
The platter bears the Longwy enamel stamp.
It also bears the signature of the designer, “Pies Grieches,” as well as that of the glazer and gilder, “JM” for Justin Marin.
