A sheath for two straight-bladed, single-edged knives, the tangs of which are carved from a section of reindeer antler engraved with a continuous decorative pattern. Its sheath consists of two slightly curved birchwood blades that taper at their tips—one side is engraved with a lively scene depicting a reindeer and tents known as Luvva. On the reverse, the name of its former owner, “Walter Julien 1933,” is likely written in handwritten letters. The upper part of the sheath features a leather patch serving as a hanging loop and also bears the date 1933.
The small knife was likely intended for precision work related to reindeer herding.
