Knife with a straight, single-edged blade; the tang is carved from a section of reindeer antler and riveted. Its sheath consists of two slightly curved birch bark strips that taper at their ends—a characteristic feature of the culture.
They are joined together using two rivets and a leather ring decorated with incised motifs—which also serves as a hanging loop. On one side, the decoration is openwork in the form of a frieze of stylized hearts; on the other, a lively scene depicts a man in a sled, pulled by his reindeer and followed by his dog.
