A rare and beautiful pewter BOWL with console-style handles and a domed lid featuring a handle adorned with the effigy of an empress, decorated with seashells and a frieze of geometric motifs.
Hallmark is partially illegible: F / B / 94 (for 1694)
Hallmark of Pierre CAMBARON, who became a master before 1709: crossed keys / tiara / P.C / B. (The “B” stands for BORDEAUX)
Length: 27.8 cm.
