Large earthenware PICHET in a baluster shape with horizontal, twisted ribs, a flared neck and base, and a twisted handle decorated with small flowers and blue four-pointed motifs on bluish-white glaze.
It is fitted with a flat-topped pewter lid with a “shell-shaped” thumbhole.
Height: 26.3 cm.
ANSBACH or NUREMBERG, second half of the 18th century.

A few tiny chips on the foot and at the lower attachment point of the handle
