A rare vase by Daum Nancy featuring an acid-etched design and glazed with blue hydrangea flowers and leaves on a speckled white background. It is embellished with six red and green cabochons within the design. It is also adorned with gilded highlights on the leaves and a beautiful gilded relief frieze around the base. Signed on the base “Daum Nancy” with the Cross of Lorraine. Art Nouveau piece, circa 1900, in perfect condition.
An identical piece is held in the collections of the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Nancy.
