In the center, uan open display niche, flanked on its side panels by stylized cutouts in the shape of a traditional heart (inome, or “boar’s eye”). This section houses an asymmetrical recess consisting of a small cabinet with two sliding doors and an adjacent drawer. In the plower section, a row of three drawers of equal size sits atop a large, deep base drawer. The piece is fitted with drooping handles made of silver-plated metal with a patina. The sides and back feature a understated finish in solid lacquer with beautiful depth, highlighting the wood’s subtle grain beneath the lacquered surface.
