Alabaster Clock Depicting "the Abduction Of Europa"
A rare alabaster clock depicting "The Abduction of Europa" by Zeus, who had transformed himself into a bull. Europa, dressed in an ancient-style tunic that reveals one breast, is seated on the back of the animal, which is decorated with garlands of flowers, and holds a drape billowing in the air.
