"Louis XV Gold Snuffbox, Master Goldsmith Dominique François Poitreau"
Oval hinged box in yellow and red gold. Chiseled on all sides with parallel lines alternating yellow and red gold, it is decorated with six medallions. The whole bordered by a garland is decorated with lake landscapes and castles. The two reserves of the base and the lid are animated by a scene of fishing with a net for one and a transport in a boat for the other. The whole of the reserves is richly bordered with garlands. Wear of use.
