Wall clock with its Boulle marquetry and chiseled and gilded bronze base with moving foliage and scrolls of volatile rocaille flowers. The circular dial in finely chiseled bronze with 12 enameled cartouches indicates the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes are engraved in the bronze in Arabic numerals. The center of the dial is decorated with plant motifs and shells. The sides of the clock are glazed, revealing the clock mechanism. The clock rests on four arched feet ending in volutes. The rear door opens and reveals Boulle marquetry motifs. This is an 18th century work, Louis XV period...
