18th-century Porcelain Coffee Pot By Manifattura Del Vecchio, Decorated With Scattered Flowers
A truncated cone-shaped porcelain coffee pot from the Neapolitan Del Vecchio manufactory, dating from the 17th–18th centuries. The body, divided into two sections by a band of raised beading, is decorated with small floral bouquets in a “scattered bunches” motif painted in polychrome enamel. The sinuous “S”-shaped spout features a decorative pink brushstroke, while the volute handle is finished with gold stippling and a small applied sculptural element at the joint.
