Limoges porcelain dinner service de table en porcelaine de Limoges par Charles Arhenfeld, gold filet and blue festoon entrelats framing a decoration of roses and ipomées enhanced by white enamel in relief stamped 1940/50.
Model white background framed by a wide light beige ribbon.

      • 2 presentation plates - ø 22.80 cm - HT : 4 cm

      • 1 footed bowl - ø 24.50 cm - HT: 7 cm

      • 2 oval dishes - 35 cm x 25 cm & 40 cm x 28.50 cm

      • 1 round dishes - ø 32.20 cm

      • 1 deep dish - ø 29.20 cm - HT : 4 cm

      • 1 salad bowl - ø 26.20 cm - HT : 8.50 cm

      • 1 gravy boat with adhering tray - ø 20 cm - HT: 7 cm

      • 2 shuttles - 22.50 cm x 13.50 cm

        1 crack at the edge of the large oval dish, the rest in good condition, rest in good condition, no cracks or chips. A few tracesmarks & firing defects.

Charles Ahrenfeldt was a porcelain decorator in Limoges.
From1868 to 1871, Ahrenfeldt owned a workshop on rue des Argentiers, and from 1871 to 1873, he worked atat 9, rue des Arènes,

from1873 to 1891 at 36, rue du Crucifix and from 1891 to 1894 at 46 avenueGaribaldi

In1894, he built his factory at 83 faubourg Montjovis in Limoges.Limoges.

The factory ceased all operations in 1969.
